1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and approve your use and any required program documents.
2. Accounts
Provide accurate information, protect your login credentials, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may not impersonate another person, create unauthorized accounts for others, or transfer your account without permission.
3. Athlete profiles and content
You retain ownership of photos, videos, biographies, and other content you submit. You grant Xceptional Hockey a limited license to host, process, display, and share that content as needed to provide the platform, including displaying a visible recruiting Passport to verified professionals and, where permitted, displaying player-provided contact information under the platform’s separate contact-access controls. You confirm that you have permission to submit the content and that it does not violate another person’s rights.
4. Verified information
A “verified” label means the identified result or account was reviewed through the platform’s stated process. It is not a guarantee of athletic ability, identity in every context, recruiting outcome, scholarship, admission, employment, or future performance. User-submitted information may not be independently verified.
5. Professional access
Recruiting tools are limited to verified coaches, agents, and scouts with legitimate recruiting or athlete-development purposes. Those professionals may view Passports set to Verified Coaches. A private Passport requires a separately approved Passport Access request. Minor Passports remain private and require that request before being opened. Protected minor contact information then requires a separate Contact Information request and guardian consent. Approval of one request does not grant the other permission. Professionals must use information only for a legitimate recruiting purpose, keep it confidential, respect guardian controls, and avoid downloading or redistributing it without permission. Access may be denied, suspended, or revoked.
6. Acceptable use
You may not scrape athlete data; bypass access controls; harass or exploit users; upload malicious, deceptive, infringing, or unlawful content; probe the service for vulnerabilities without written authorization; send spam; or use platform information for discrimination, commercial resale, or purposes unrelated to legitimate camps, development, or recruiting. Coach Connect may be used only for individualized outreach to coaches, scouts, agents, or programs the athlete reasonably believes are relevant. Users must review AI-assisted drafts, provide accurate recipients, respect opt-out requests, and may not use the feature for unsolicited bulk email.
7. Programs and applications
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, a bed, team placement, playing time, recruiting attention, or any other outcome. Program details, schedules, instructors, facilities, deliverables, capacity, and pricing may change. Acceptance into a camp or residency may require separate payment terms, health information, emergency contacts, codes of conduct, waivers, releases, and guardian signatures.
8. Third-party services and links
The platform may link to or rely on third-party services, including hosted videos and email, hosting, security, or storage providers. We do not control third-party content, availability, or practices, and use of those services may be governed by separate terms.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary to protect athletes, users, the platform, or legal rights; investigate misuse; enforce these Terms; or discontinue a feature. You may request account deletion through available account settings.
10. Disclaimers and responsibility
The website and platform are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted operation or specific athletic, recruiting, academic, or professional outcomes. Nothing on the platform is medical, legal, academic-admissions, or recruiting-compliance advice. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes and contact
